The VMAlliance is a collaborative project established by the Credit Union Information Security Professionals Association (CUISPA), to address the growing challenge of managing 3rd party vendor relationships.

With common vendors, common requirements, and common challenges, CUISPA initiated an effort in 2007 to establish an information sharing network to improve vendor management practices with the ongoing cooperation of its stakeholders. The VMAlliance is the result of that effort. Within the VMAlliance credit unions, vendors, and regulators provide valuable input to shape the practices and procedures for managing relationships within the industry.
